The Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) is the state government’s agency whose mission is to serve as a catalyst for the arts and is the official grants-making and service agency for the arts in the state. MAC distributes over 300 grants annually to artists and arts organizations and is funded annually by the Mississippi Legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts and private funds. MAC is the statewide resource for all things arts. They host events, convening's & workshops related to the arts throughout the year.
